TRAPPER MINING INC.
January 4, 2019
Ms. Robin Reilley
Environmental Protection Specialist RECEIVED
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203 JAN 08 2019
Dear Ms. Robin Reilley:
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION,
RE: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit C-81-010 MINING AND SAFETY
Fourth Quarter 2018 Sediment Pond Inspections
Impoundment inspection results for the fourth quarter of 2018 are enclosed. All impoundment inspections
were conducted by a qualified impoundment inspector. Inspections took place on November 61h and 181h
of 2018.
There were no maintenance items that need to be check/replaced.
There were four new sediment ponds constructed in 2018: Deal #2, Deacon #1, Deacon #2 and Jeffway
#1. All four of these ponds were added to the inspection. The 60% sediment level for these ponds was
just recently calculated. A sediment markers needs to be installed at all four ponds. They will be installed
as soon as weather conditions improve.
Data related to pond capacity is attached. The four new ponds have been added to the data. The last
column on the table provides an estimate of the remaining capacity in each pond where remaining
capacity is defined as the volume remaining after considering the estimated amount of sediment noted
during the inspections.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
POto nL,,a
•••,..•...FiVs`
RIE
,G.
