The residual dataset generated at the control site indicated almost no departure from terrain
background, as indicated by the color scale almost entirely found at the background level (Figure 9).
Low conductivity anomalies at the investigation site may be associated with sinkhole features due to
the removal of fines (clay content) from the near surface by dissolution and transport associated with
increased hydraulic conductivity. However interpretation of the geophysical data presented in this
report does not indicate a depth, extent, or character of the features observed at this site other than a
lateral variation in terrain conductivity.
Closure
The geophysical methods and field procedures defined in this report were applicable to the project
objectives and have been successfully applied by Olson to investigations of similar size and nature.
However, sometimes field or subsurface conditions are different from those anticipated and the
resultant data may not achieve the project objectives. Olson warrants that our services were performed
within the limits prescribed for this project, with the usual thoroughness and competence of the
geophysical profession. Olson conducted this project using the current standards of the geophysical
industry and utilized in-house quality control standards to produce a precise geophysical survey.
The quality of the FDEM data acquired at the Track 70 site was good. The surveys were effective in
mapping the electromagnetic characteristics of the survey area, and the presence of geophysical
anomalies of the character that may be associated with the particular subsidence features of interest.
The quality of the geophysical data and the correlation to field observations and historical
observations provided to Olson by Fontanari and counsel, yields a high degree of confidence in the
FDEM results obtained and interpretations presented in this report.
If you have any questions regarding the field procedures, data analyses, or the interpretive results
presented herein, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate working with you and look
forward to providing Fontanari with geophysical services in the future.
Respectfully,
Trever Ensele
Senior Geopysicist
Roy Bowling
Project Geophysical Engineer
Project No. 6422A 7 Geophysical Report
