If power is not available, flow may be measured on an instantaneous basis. <br /> 2: Oil and Grease: -A visual observation of the discharge for each permitted outfall must be made <br /> 2 times per month. In the event an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab sample shall be <br /> collected, analyzed, and reported on the DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be taken <br /> immediately to mitigate the discharge of oil. <br /> 3: Total Flow -Total flow is the cumulative flow of the discharge for the quarter in million gallons. If <br /> continuous flow monitoring is not conducted, the permittee must calculate the total flow for the <br /> month or quarter using the 30-day average flow (measured) and the number of days the facility <br /> discharged within the month or quarter. <br /> Stormwater Monitoring Requirements <br /> Permit Limitations and/or Monitoring Requirements apply to outfall 002A as outlined in the Permit in <br /> Part I,C.2 and Parts I.G through I.Q. <br /> On the effective date of this certification, the West Farm Pit is subject to the monitoring requirements <br /> identified below at each discharge point of stormwater from the facility. <br /> A. Visual monitoring, Part 1.1.1 <br /> Per Part 1.1.1 of the permit, the permittee must collect a stormwater sample from each outfall (or a <br /> substantially identical outfall pursuant to Part I.H.1 of the permit)and conduct a visual assessment <br /> of each of these samples once each quarter for the entire permit term. <br /> B.
