NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />FIELD REPORT <br />Project: Wilson Storage Project No.: 17-10754 Date: 5/23/17 <br />Pond Liner Time: 12 5 <br />Location: Moffat County, CO Report No.: 3 Liner Mileage: 140 <br />Client: Wollam Construction Engr. /Tech: RE <br />Work Performed: <br />As requested, we visited the project site on today's date and conducted compaction test No.'s 1 through 4 and <br />retest on 1A on the material being placed for the Wilson Storage Pond clay liner <br />The excavation contractor Precision Excavating placed, moisture conditioned and compacted on-site clay liner <br />materials across the pond floor <br />We inspected the clay material borrow site several times throughout the day to insure the materials remained <br />consistent with the required clay material <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met the project specifications for compaction and moisture content. Compaction test <br />No. 1 was 3 9% below optimum moisture content and at 93% compaction. Upon failing the compaction test the <br />contractor elected to spend the rest of the day moisture conditioning processing and recompacting the fill <br />materials to insure proper moisture content. A retest of the failed test location met project specifications <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for results of today's testing <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Tommy Sirk of Precision Excavating and Doug White of Colowyo were aware of today s visit. <br />
