The revision was submitted by Twentymile Coal, LLC. All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br /> <br />PR-12 proposes to include development and longwall mining of additional coal reserve within the <br />Wolf Creek Coal Seam associated with a Federal Coal Lease by Application (LBA) to the permit. <br />The LBA is within the current Foidel Creek Mine Permit Area and includes approximately 640 <br />acres and 4.12 million tons of recoverable coal. PR-12 proposes a 414.0 acre increase to the permit <br />affected area, and addresses mining all or portions of four longwall panels (1-East through 4-East) <br />within the Wolf Creek Reserve. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance <br />outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 23 miles Southwest of <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
