Minor Revision No. 59 was issued on March 12, 2018. The revision updated the Identification of Interests section of the permit. Technical Revision No. 17 was issued on December 9, 2015. The revision approved an update to the sedimentation control plan for outfall 003, placing a silt fence below the construction materials stockpile in order to be in compliance with 40 CFR Part 434 Subpart H, CDPHE discharge permit C00038342. Technical Revision No. 18 was issued on August 21, 2018. The revision approved the elimination of the alluvial well GW -3 from the mine's hydrologic monitoring program and also approved the reclamation of GW -3. GW -3 was installed to monitor future Munger Canyon Mine disturbances. Since the Munger Canyon Mine was in the process of achieving phase III bond release and termination of Division jurisdiction, monitoring well GW -3 was removed from the Munger Canyon Mine's permit through TR -29. Additionally, well GW -9 serves as the McClane Canyon Mine's down gradient monitoring well. Permit Revision No. 2 was issued on March 11, 2017. The revision approved an expansion for the McClane Canyon Mine. The permit acreage increased by 2,560.5 acres. Status of Stipulations The stipulation history for the McClane Canyon Mine was reviewed with this renewal application. The review included an investigation of any stipulations imposed, and any responses to existing stipulations received since the last midterm review. Any stipulations associated with this permit and issued over the life of this operation which are not discussed in this midterm review have been complied with or terminated. STIPULATION NO. 27: SEDIMENT REMOVED FROM THE SEDIMENT POND MAY BE USED AS A TOPDRESSING OR TOPSOIL SUPPLEMENT PURSUANT TO RULE 4.06.2(4)(A), UPON SUBMITTAL OF CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL ANALYSES DEMONSTRATING THAT THE MATERIAL IS EQUAL TO OR MORE SUITABLE FOR SUSTAINING VEGETATION THAN AVAILABLE TOPSOIL OR OTHER PLANT GROWTH MEDIA. SUCH DEMONSTRATION SHALL BE BASED ON A REPRESENTATIVE COMPOSITE SAMPLE OF THE MATERIAL OBTAINED FROM EACH POND CLEANOUT EPISODE.
