The bond posted for Mod-03 accounts for disturbance on 7.8 acres or
7400 ft. of exploration road, 40 ft. wide. Current disturbance is 4.89 acres or 7078 ft. of road
at various widths depending on terrain. The exploration eastward will increase disturbance to
a total of 6.77 acres or 9805 ft. of road. The terrain is less rugged in the Sentinel vicinity,
allowing for a narrower road width. Please refer to Table 1: Total Disturbance Comparison.
Zephyr proposes maintaining the current bond even though proposed disturbance will be less
than that for which a bond is posted.
Table 1: Total Disturbance Comparison
Linear feet of Exploration road
Acres exploration road width in feet
Bonded total 7.8 7400 40
disturbance
Total disturbance to 4.89 7078 15 to 40
date
Total proposed 6.77 9805 15 to 40
disturbance
1107 Main Street, Canon City, CO 81212
e-mail: eai@bresnan.net
Phone: 719-275-8951
