EXHIBIT K <br /> Climate Information <br /> The proposed Tucson South Resource permit area exhibits a semi-arid climate typical of the Northern Colorado Front <br /> Range region. The region is characterized by low humidity, relatively low average precipitation,and a high <br /> percentage of sunshine. A large amount of the precipitation which occurs falls during short duration, high intensity <br /> summer thunderstorm activity. <br /> Climate information was available from the Western Regional Climate Center in Brighton, Colorado. The climate <br /> data collected from 1973 through 2016, indicates the total annual precipitation at the site to be approximately 14.03 <br /> inches per year.
