PERMIT #: M-1998-013
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ECS
INSPECTION DATE: November 6, 2018
Although DRMS acknowledges that Mr. Hopp is likely experiencing surface drainage issues during large storm
events, at this time, it is not the Division's belief that the nearby mine is a contributing factor. Rather, it
appears that removal of the westward historic surface drainage flow path at the NW corner of property due to
the elevated fill and construction of the adjacent subdivision, and additional excavation of the low lying area
at the northwest corner of the Hopper property to capture surface runoff, are the primary reasons for the
issues Mr. Hopp has observed.
