GISP <br />C1981044 5 November 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> 3 <br />be found at the end of this document following a summary of the history of permit C1981044, a description of <br />the environment affected by the operation, and summaries of the mining and reclamation plans. <br /> <br />Replacement of Previous Findings Documents. This findings document replaces the findings documents <br />from MCM LLC’s previous renewals. The date of the Proposed Decision for the immediately preceding permit <br />renewal (RN-06) was 8 December 2014. The Final Decision for RN-06 was issued 10 July 2015. <br /> <br />Information Sources for Permit and Review Process. The review process for permit revisions and renewals <br />is described in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act (C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq.) and the <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. “Rules” referred to in this <br />document are contained within those regulations. Specific information about MCM LLC’s mining and <br />reclamation operations can be found in the permit application and permit revision applications on file with the <br />Division, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br /> <br />Proposed Decision <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve MCM’s application for permit <br />renewal RN7. <br /> <br />This decision is based on a finding that the operations will comply with all requirements of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq., and the Regulations promulgated pursuant to <br />the Act. <br /> <br />If no request for a formal hearing is made within thirty (30) days of the first publication of the issuance of this <br />proposed decision, then this decision becomes final.
