Victory Way <br />Craig, CO 81625 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br /> Permit Renewal Application No. 7 (RN-7) <br /> Williams Fork Mines (Permit No. C-1981-044) <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Moffat County Commissioners: <br /> <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is <br />proposing to approve a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The <br />application was submitted by Moffat County Mining, LLC on February 9, 2018, for the Williams <br />Fork Mines. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of this notice by the Division in the Craig Daily Press. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; and Sections <br />17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6n, <br />R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625. A <br />Copy of the Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance” is available at your <br />County Clerk and Recorder’s office. <br />
