Gravelly sandy loam material which is estimated from 4 to 24 inches in depth will be
stockpiled and preserved in a 16' x 16' x 4' height structure built on-site with logs from trees
cut down during process of mining activity.
(c) Overburden thickness is estimated at<24-28 inches
Waste rock in overburden will be removed and placed in area next to vein during excavation
period then reburied. Vein trench begins immediately at bedrock. Waste rock storage area is
shown on Exhibit E Map Number 2. Wall and waste rock is placed in two (2) large
rectangular holding structures built on-site that would measure roughly 20' x 30' x 6' height.
Holding structures manufactured from plate steel 1/4-inch thickness including both sides and
bottom. These two steel plate holding structures would hold upwards of 7,200 cubic feet
(3,600 cubic feet each) of waste rock. This allows the ability to run material until these
holding structures are full or roughly 30' of trench is opened whichever comes first. During
initial start-up of mining activities the operation would only utilize one of these steel plate
holding structures and run until full before starting the backfilling process. Waste rock will
be covered by tarp(s) during non-activity at mine.
Note: Measurements of 30' length x 10' width by 30' depth is maximum estimates for amount
of open trench at any given time. It's estimated during much of the operation the trench will
be kept closer to 6' to 8' width and 20' to 25' depth.
Teton Drilling Inc. will send ore to the Federal Mill. The Federal Mill is located in Adams
County at 3060 W. 58th Ave., Denver, CO 80221 and managed by Paul Danio.
Note: When not processing ore on-site at the Dixie Mine there is no need for metal holding
structures to hold waste rock and ore.
(d) Thickness of deposit to be mined
The primary vein values vary from 6 inches to 3 feet in width according to historical records.
Primary means to access vein material is an excavator. The limiting factor of ability to access
vein depth is reach of excavator that is near 20 feet to 30 feet maximum depth. Estimated
width of area excavated is 6 feet to 10 feet as noted on Exhibit E Map Number 2.
(e) Major components of mining operation
• Mining road connecting from Ute Creek Rd. to location of vein as shown in Exhibit E
Map 1. Road dimension to EMSHA requirements of 20 feet.
• 10 x 24 Storage Shipping Container.
• Processing facilities shown in Exhibit E Map Number 3:
Teton Drilling Inc.
Dixie Mine-Clear Creek County,CO
Updated Revisions—March 12,2016
Page I 6
