First Aid Measures <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eye : Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. <br />Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing <br />eye. Wear NIOSH-approved air-purifying respirator with cartridges for <br />pesticides, if needed. Eyewash and emergency shower should be available in <br />work area. <br /> <br />Emergency Procedures : Prevent material from entering public sewer systems or any waterways. <br />Methods and Materials for <br />Containment and Cleanup : Absorb small spills using sand, vermiculite or other absorbent. Collect and place <br />contaminated material in an appropriate container for disposal. For large spills, <br />dike using absorbent or impervious material such as clay or sand.
