The revision was submitted by Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, <br />LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from <br />this date of filing. <br /> <br />TR-86 is proposing to re-construct a stock pond on the Goforth property. The pond existed prior to <br />mining and is being re-constructed at the request of the landowner. The pond is not designed for <br />sediment control and it will it not be used for sediment control or in support of any other mining <br />activity. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently <br />approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of Nucla, <br />Colorado.
