5. The operation's purpose and the associated activities: <br /> Enclosed for your review is a 110d Limited Impact Permit Application form and a <br /> complete package of additional information related to OTRP. The only processing <br /> facilities will be a portable crusher and screen. All material will be removed. <br /> 6. The name of the operation: <br /> Old Town Reclamation Project <br /> 6. Type of operation and substance to be mined: <br /> This will be a mine waste clean-up project. <br /> 7. Site location: <br /> The OTRP will occur at the Old Town Mine Site which is located north of Idaho Springs and south <br /> of Black Hawk/Central City, located off the Virginia Canyon Road. The site is located in the NE <br /> 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Section 23,Township 3 South, Range 73W, 6`" PM, Gilpin County, Colorado, <br /> at an elevation of approximately 9150 feet,MSL. <br /> 8. Legal description: <br /> The legal description for the affected area is in Exhibit A. The proposed affected area will <br /> be approximately 2.76 + acres. <br /> 9. Proposed post OTRP land use: <br /> The site will be returned to wildlife habitat <br /> 10. Acres permitted: <br /> The permit boundary will be approximately 2.76+acres. <br /> 11. Acres affected: <br /> The affected acres will be the same as the permitted acres. <br /> 12. Estimated life of the proposed OTRP: <br /> The estimated life of the OTRP is approximately 10 years which includes the period of site <br /> reclamation. This estimate may vary due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. <br /> Therefore the operation could last longer or shorter. The OTRP will begin operations as <br /> soon as it is authorized by the DRMS. <br /> 13. OTRP site access: <br /> There is already a road allowing site access. Site access will be off Virginia Canyon Road. <br /> 12 <br />
