growing. Spraying should be performed when temperatures are <br />under 80° F. Spraying will be done by use of an ATV mounted <br />spray tank. <br />Oxeye Daisy can be sprayed in the spring in the early flower <br />stage. Houndstounge should be sprayed in the spring in the <br />early flower stage. Musk, Canadian and Scotch thistle should <br />be sprayed in the spring during late bud to early flower. <br />Russian knapweed should be sprayed in the spring and fall. <br />Fall treatment is also appropriate for thistle rosetts and <br />Canadian thistle. <br />Fencing <br />Fencing is not considered necessary to keep domestic <br />livestock off of the newly vegetated areas. SH -133 provides a <br />barrier to the north and the North Fork of the Gunnison River <br />provides a barrier to the south. <br />vi. Measures proposed to be used to determine the success of re - <br />vegetation <br />As per Rule 4.15.9, success of revegetation will be determined <br />on the basis of crop production from the mined area as <br />compared to a reference area. Crop production shall be <br />considered successful if production is not less than 90% of the <br />reference area with 90% statistical confidence.
