Mine <br />representative Miranda Kawcak was present throughout the inspection. Skies were partly cloudy with <br />temperatures around 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Main haul roads appeared in good repair, no hydrologic or air quality <br />issues were detected during the inspection. <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br />Culvert maintenance identified in previous inspections should be completed as soon as possible, <br />preferably before winter weather creates accessibility issues. The operator has indicated that a <br />contractor has been hired to perform this work in the near future. <br />1. Culverts were identified that do not appear on the map. <br />2. Pond 17 shows some headcutting underneath the flume. It is usual for the operator to repair this <br />with bentonite. <br />3. Tpost at pond 17 and had been knocked down and requires repositioning. <br />4. Landscape fabric is exposed above surge tank T26 and in other areas around the site. <br />5. Additional erosion control may be needed in PM18, near surge tank should gullies show signs of <br />advancing or deepening. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Main haul roads and access roads were dry. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts were <br />observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation and vegetation appeared vigorous and well <br />established throughout the site and going dormant at this time of year.
