Lamar Gravel Wetland Delineation Ecological Resource Consultants,Inc. <br /> 1.0 Introduction <br /> This report summarizes the wetland and waters of the United States delineation completed by <br /> Ecological Resource Consultants, Inc. (ERC) for the Study Area. The delineation was conducted <br /> at the request of J&T Consulting,Inc. (400 W. 122"d Avenue, Suite 120,Westminster, CO 80234, <br /> 303.457.0735).ERC conducted the on-site portion of the wetland delineation on August 13,2007. <br /> 2.0 Study Area Location <br /> The Study Area is located just east of the Town of Lamar, CO, east of North Main Street and <br /> north of US 50(385). The Study Area can be accessed by taking I-70 East to US 287 South.From <br /> US 287 South take Auwaerter Drive to County Route HH 8/10. The Study Area is located north <br /> of County Route HH 0.5. More specifically, the Study Area is located in the southeast quarter of <br /> Section 28, southwest quarter of 27, northeast quarter of 33 and northwest quarter of 34, <br /> Township 22 South Range 46 West in Prowers County, Colorado (Latitude 38.055847, North, <br /> Longitude 102.343321 West). General Vicinity Ma (USGS 7.5 Minute Series Topo raphic Map) <br /> i� <br /> y _ <br /> i <br /> J - s <br /> J. <br /> r <br /> 3.0 General Site Description <br /> The Study Area is approximately 300 acres and has an average elevation of 3,618 feet above <br /> mean sea level.The Study Area is bounded by agricultural land to the east and west,the Arkansas <br /> River and City of Lamar sewage lagoons to the north, and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe <br /> Railway to the south. The topography of Study Area is essentially flat. The Study Area includes <br /> an unnamed ditch which appears on the USGS map, a series of irrigation ditches and adjacent <br /> upland agricultural areas.
