<br />Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance October 2018 <br />Partial Phase II and III Bond Release SL-14 Page 3 <br />Taylor Pit will be nearly 4,000 feet wide, 6,000 feet long, and 550 feet deep. Pit progression is <br />from east to west. Projected life of the South Taylor Pit is estimated to be until 2017 as per the <br />currently approved Map 23A, not including potential highwall mining, which could prolong this <br />schedule. Reclamation in the South Taylor Pit is expected to conclude in 2029. <br /> <br />In 2017, construction began for the Collom Pit expansion approved with PR-04. Current <br />activities are limited to the items detailed in Exhibit 13C of the Cololwyo PAP. <br /> <br />Permit, Performance Bond, and Bond Release History <br /> <br />The permanent program mining permit was issued on November 4, 1982. Seven successive <br />permit renewals have been approved subsequent to the initial permanent program permit <br />approval; the most recent, Permit Renewal No. 7, was issued August 14, 2018, for a permit term <br />that will expire November 5, 2022.
