Wade Wymore of GCC Energy was present for the entire inspection. The
weather conditions were overcast with light drizzle. The ground was wet with standing water in areas. The
amount of rain recieved in the previous 24 hours was not recorded. The temperature was approximately 50F. In
the July 17, 2018 inpsection report, many hydrological features were noted as needing repairs due to a recent
storm event. These maintenance items have been corrected. The items listed in this report document the
maintenace items that need correcting from the precipitation recieved in the days previous to this inspection.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
King 1 - The inlets to reach 7 were cleaned and free of obstructions (photo 1).
The pipe joint on Reach 3 has been repaired.
The east and west ponds contained a small amount of water and were not discharging.
The small berms along the SAE#1 haul road were re-established to direct water to the sediment filters.

King 2 - Culverts C5, C6 (photo 2), C13, C16 contained some sediment and need to be cleaned.
The inlets to culverts C3, C8, C9, C10, C14, C15, C18 and C20 were free of obstructions.
The check dams in ditch ID3 along the fan access road need to be cleaned and the berm re-established.
Ditches CWD-1A, ID6 were in good condition.
The organic debris in Ditch CWD-2 has been mostly removed. There is still a section of organic material that
needs to be removed on the north side of the topsoil stockpile. Many thistle rosettes and plants were seen in and
around the ditch on the north side of the topsoil stockpile. These need to be treated. Several shrubs in the ditch on
the south side of the topsoil stockpile need to be removed because they are starting to dam debris (photo 3). A
large tree branch fell into the ditch and needs to be removed.
The sediment pond contained some water but was not discharging. The discharge end of culverts C4 A + B have
some sediment in them (photo 4). It appears that the ditch below the culverts may need a more positive slope
