(vi) Explain the establishment methods for each species of shrub and/or tree,
and state the number of each to be established per acre:
There are no plans to establish shrubs or trees at this site.
(d) Specify which ponds, streams, roads and buildings,if any, will remain after
reclamation. ...
This reclamation plan does not call for any ponds, streams, roads or buildings to remain
after reclamation.
(e) Specify the reclamation treatment of any waste rock dumps, underground
mining openings, ditches, sediment control facilities, buildings and other features
specified in the mine plan but not previously addressed in the Reclamation Plan
narrative. These features must be shown on Exhibit E—Map. This should
describe the measures taken to minimize disturbance to the hydrologic balance,
prevent off-site damage, and provide for a stable configuration consistent with the
proposed future land use.
• The only structures not previously addressed are the haul roads. Any roads used to
haul borrow material not previously existing on the mine site will be disked or
otherwise treated to eliminate compaction prior to topsoil replacement.
• In addition, any gates or fences affected or disturbed by mining and reclamation
operations will be restored to equal or better condition upon completion of mining
and reclamation operations.
• No other structures or facilities are part of the borrow operation.
2. Reclamation Cost Estimate:
This is a 111 Special Operation permit. The bond amount proposed to be posted is
$2,500.00 per acre. The affected area is 26.9 acres. (26.95 acres X $2,500.00/acre=
$67,375.00)
(Completed Performance and Financial Warranties are attached to this Application.)
43
