Tabetha Lynch, DRMS
Page 2
4/30/2015

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety is proposing to Approve the partial release of
coal exploration bond submitted by Williams Fork Land Company for Notice of Intent No. X-2017-234-
02. The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in Moffat County. An
Inspection showed that the requested pads have been adequately abandoned, backfilled, graded, and
marked. The vegetation of the pads does not yet meet adequacy and the Division will hold a portion of
the bond to ensure final reclamation of the four pads within the proposed bond release identified in
more detail in the Division’s bond release inspection report dated September 20, 2018. The Division
currently holds a surety in the amount of $27,728.42. The Division approves the release of $9,937.
The legal description of the project is as follows:
Sections 28 and 29 Township 6 North, Range 91 West
Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit
written comments, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board, to the Division at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Such
comments should be submitted within 30 days of the second publication of this notice.
