EXHIBIT L- Reclamation Costs
March 2015 the Gallegos Corporation submitted a bond release application for the reclaimed 0.47 acres
in the northeast corner of the Marble Airfield LLC (formerly Gallegos & Associates) to remove them
from the reclamation liability. The private land was removed from the permit area by Acreage Reduction
Request No. 3 (AR-3) in April 2015. The remaining permit area included the 23.33 acres on USFS land.
The portion of the new access road on the Darien property will remain for landowner use per the access
easement. The portion of the new access road on USFS land is approximately 925 feet long containing
0.34 acres more or less. With the new access road, the net disturbed acres is shown on Table L-1:
Table L-1: Remaining Disturbed Ground
Description Acres
Remaining disturbed ground 0.26
New access road 0.34
Total disturbed ground 0.60
A disturbed area approximately 288 ft. by 100 ft. above the 2008 mining area is on the crest of a ridge
going onto the USFS land and visible from the Key Observation Points (KOP) established for the USFS
EA. A large portion of the existing light-colored rock area is on private land and not affected by the
USFS rock staining stipulations. The reclamation bond will be revised to include rock staining if and
when it is needed.
The existing reclamation bond of$7,725.00 is adequate to reclaim the net 1 acre of disturbed ground that
would remain after contemporaneous reclamation activities excluding any potential rock staining.
Revised: 09/18/2018
15
