1.0 AMES CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
1.1 Ore Excavation
A CAT D9T, and a CAT D6T LGP dozer were utilized to remove ore material between 9650' to
9687' elevations pushing downhill to the stockpile near 9650' bench. The dozers worked on a
minimum of 4' of geomembrane cover. The removed ore stockpile was loaded and hauled by the
Mine Operations.
A CAT 321C L excavator was used to expose geomembrane by removing the Drain Cover Fill (DCF)
between 9650' and 9695' elevations and between 9750' and 9850' benches. The south extent of
geomembrane damage was located during the shift.
1.2 Geomembrane Repair
No activities preformed during this shift.
2.0 NEWFIELDS ACTIVITIES
NewFields personnel observed ore removal, DCF removal, and geomembrane exposure.
