1.0 AMES CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
1.1 Ore Excavation
A CAT D9T dozer and a CAT D6T LGP dozer were utilized to remove ore material between the
' 9650' and 9750' benches stockpiling near 9650' bench. The D6T and D9T worked on four-feet of
geomembrane cover.
The mini excavator was used to excavate test pits to locate the geomembrane along the 9740'
elevation. Nine test pits were excavated at an approximate interval of 20'. All existing DCF,
' geomembrane, and pipe exposed were found to be undisturbed and in as-built condition.
1.2 Geomembrane Installation
No activities performed during the shift.
2.0 NEWFIELDS ACTIVITIES
NewFields personnel observed ore removal, geomembrane exposure, and the excavation of test
pits during the shift.
