These areas are mine ponds or restored ponds that will generally be used for stock watering <br /> during grazing in or nearby to irrigate pastures or dryland pastures. <br /> 2.7 Commercial- Roads (R) <br /> This category includes 5t'Avenue, 2700 Road, and BB Road through the permit area. These will <br /> be removed by mining and rebuilt prior to final bond release of the permit area. <br /> 2.8 Commercial Facilities (F) <br /> These areas include dwellings, outbuildings, sheds, storage areas, barns, driveways, parking <br /> areas, and other miscellaneous related disturbance. All of these areas are related to the post- <br /> mining land use of agriculture. A letter from New Horizon stating that it desires those <br /> outbuildings, parking areas, storage areas, and other agricultural related areas to be part of the <br /> operation is provided in Attachment 2.05.3(3)-8. <br /> 2.9 Adjacent Support Facilities (ASF) <br /> In accordance with Rule 1.04(71), areas will be established that will be used as adjacent support <br /> facilities which will be adjacent to and are an integral part of the post mine land use. These areas <br /> will include a reclaimed haul road that the surface landowners have requested be retained as an <br /> road to support the post mine land use on their individual piece of property. This permanent <br /> feature will be utilized for access and management of adjacent irrigated and dryland pasture areas. <br /> Access to this permanent road feature is available for all surface landowners off of 5U' Avenue, <br /> BB County Road or 2700 Road. Additionally, reclaimed topsoil stockpile footprints will be <br /> utilized as staging and storage areas for agriculture related equipment and supplies. Finally, <br /> topsoil stockpiles will be utilized by the landowner for reclamation maintenance as needed. Please <br /> see Map 2.05.4-5 for the location of the areas described above. To accommodate ongoing <br /> postmining land use maintenance on the Morgan property, Bench 1 material will be hauled to the <br /> previously approved ASF on their property and utilized as needed. ASF areas may be seeded to <br /> some extent at the request of the landowner and New Horizon will seed these areas in accordance <br /> with the surface landowner's desires.
