The ground inspection was completed by Clayton Wein and the aerial inspection was completed by Harry <br />Ranney, both of the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety (th Division). No company representative was <br />present for the inspection. The weather was cloudy with a temperature o f 84 degrees F. The ground conditions <br />were dry. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records for the Munger Canyon Mine are located at the offices of J. E. Stover and Associates in Grand <br />Junction, Colorado. The records check was performed in the morning of September 19, 2018. The records were <br />well kept and in good condition. Please see the Availability of Records Form attached to the end of this report for <br />more details. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> Deer scat was seen at several location throughout the mine site. During the inspection of the reclaimed <br />sediment pond, several bees were seen on the nearby flowers. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Stru ctures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> During the inspec tion of the mine, Salt Creek and Munger Creek wee dry. All three of the creek crossings <br />along the access road were dry as well. There was no evidence of recent flow. The crossings were stable and in <br />good repair. There are three riprap channels along th e reclaimed haul road. All three of the channels were clear of <br />debris and capable of functioning as designed (Photo 1). There was no flow through the channels at the time of <br />the inspection.
