There are two sumps located at the west end of <br />the office area. One on the north side of the haul road and one on the south side of the haul road (Photo 2). Both <br />of the sumps were dry at the time of the inspection. The silt fencing was in good repair. The berms along the <br />office are were intact and functioning as designed to prevent off -site impacts. The sediment pond was also dry <br />(Photo 3). The spillway was clear of debris and capable of functioning as designed. The embankment was well <br />vegetated and stable. There were no erosional features identified. The remaining su mps along the haul road were <br />in good repair. The outlets were clear of debris. No water was impounded in the sumps at the time of the <br />inspection. The portals area was well kept and the water control features in the area were clear of debris and <br />functional (Photo 4). No water was flowing during the inspection.
