The inspection <br />was completed by Clayton Wein of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Saftey (the Division). The Fruita <br />No. 1 and 2 Mine is a revoked site. The weather was clear and was about 80 degree s F. The ground conditions <br />wee dry. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> During the inspection. Coyote scat and tracks were observed. Deer scat was also observed at most <br />locations throughout the site. Old cattle scat was observed along the reclaimed haul r oad. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> During the inspection the site was dry. The pond was not holding any water (Photo 1) and the spillw ay <br />was clear of debris. No new rills or gullies w ere identified. Runoff from the reclaimed areas are directed to either <br />the pond or to the along the west side of the reclaimed haul road, which leads to an un-named drainage.
