Actions taken to respond to and correct the taken to respond to and correct the emer2encysituation or condition <br /> condition <br /> • At approximately 4:00 pm on September 15, 2018, the concentrate thickener underflow pipe line <br /> separated at a victaulic fitting, spilling approximately 1,500 gallons of slurry. <br /> • Upon discovery,the pump was shut down and the flow was redirected. <br /> • A skid steer was used to over excavate the area impacted by the spill. <br /> • The excavated soil was transferred to the tailings loadout pile. Less than 30 cubic yards of soil was <br /> excavated in the cleanup efforts. Clean gravel was placed in the over excavated area. <br /> b. Any known or adverse impacts to humanknown or adverse impacts to human health, or the environment <br /> the environment <br /> No impacts to human health or the environment were observed or are expected to occur due to the low <br /> quantity spilled,the benign chemical composition of the concentrate, and the swift clean up. <br /> c.
