DRMS <br /> comments are in italics font, followed by the Climax response. <br /> Comment #1: The entrance relocation project calls for using approximately 23,000 Cubic Yards of <br /> material sourced on site to fill the area over the east side channel. While the characterization tables <br /> are provided the specific data is not called out. Please clarify the source of the material and its <br /> corresponding geochemical data. If the specific location is not known, please provide the top three <br /> options for the source of material so that the data may be verified. <br /> Response: The source material that will be utilized to fill the area over the East Side Channel for the <br /> access road will be the same type of material that is currently being placed in the McNulty OSF. Please <br /> see Table T-E-3 from the EPP Appendix T-E for the geochemical data for this material. <br /> Comment #2: It is understood that the out slopes of the fill material will be completed with 3H.• 1 V <br /> slopes however there is no scale or annotations in the drawings and figures to confirm. Please specify <br /> grade of the fill material, as well as the depth and final grade of the earthen cover and topsoil that is to <br /> be placed on top of the fill. <br /> Response: The attached drawing titled "Climax Mine Access Relocation — Access Road Plan & <br /> Profile—Sheet C300" indicates the final slope of 3H:1 V and a topsoil thickness of 1ft. <br /> Comment #3: The access road for the entrance relocation project will be constructed across a portion <br /> of the East Side Channel, which is a certified EPF. One of the figures depicts a culvert or conveyance <br /> structure to be installed in the channel, however no details were given in the narrative. Please provide <br /> details of the culvert including but not limited to; type of culvert to be used, length, diameter and slope <br /> o the culvert as well as details on an structures constructed at the inlet to prevent flow bypass and <br /> .� � y p .� YP <br />
