The King Pit does not anticipate exposing groundwater during any phase of mining. <br />2. Stormwater encountered and/or temporarily collected on site will either infiltrate into the <br />porous gravel of the site typical of the San Luis Valley or will evaporate within 72 hours. <br />3. Water will only be used on site as dust suppression. Any water required for dust <br />mitigation will be purchased and brought on site by a certified and independent Operator. <br />DWR had an additional comment regarding Exhibit G specifically, "Groundwater is unlikely to <br />be encountered during any phase of mining at the King Pit; however, a Substitute Water Supply <br />Plan (SWSP) is in place due to requirements dictated by Alamosa County." However, careful <br />review by GLA Staff yields an in office error.
