Mine representatives Miranda Kawcak, and OSM representative Dan McKinnon , were present <br />through out the inspection. Skies were clear with temperatures around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Main haul roads <br />appeared in good repair, no hydrologic or air quality issues were detected during the inspection. <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br />Culverts <br />Culvert maintenance identified should be completed as soon as possible, preferably before winter weather <br />creates accessibility issues. Culverts were identified that do not appear on the map. <br />1. Culvert near Pond 9 requires cleaning (photo 1, below) and at Stock Tank 5 (photo 4, Map 2). <br /> <br /> <br />Map 1: Landscape fabric requires maintenance. <br /> <br />Photo 1: Culvert requiring clean out, near pond 9. <br />Ponds <br />1. Pond 17 shows some headcutting underneath the flume. It is usual for the operator to repair this with <br />bentonite. Tpost at pond 17 and had been knocked down and requires repositioning.
