W.
MORK PERMRb4M
The contractor placed several feet of fill in the berm since last tested on
MUAL INSTRU=()NS
Joe Tyburski was notified of the high moisture readings in the two tests
taken.
EMAPMS
Two compaction tests were taken on the Northern half of the berm. There was
not enough new fill on the Southern portion of the berm to be tested.
Both compaction tests met the required 90Z density called for in the specs.
The moisture in both tests were quite high. I think the high readings could
be atributable to the gauges reaction to small quantities of coal and organics
found in the fill material. The material appeared to be 3Z to 4Z over optimum.
