(Supplement to the Reclamation Plan) <br /> Section 3.1 Reclamation Performance Standards: <br /> 3.1.1 The Post Mining Land Use: <br /> (1) State the post mining land use: <br /> The post mining land use is Range Land. <br /> (2) The results of these decisions shall be formulated into a Reclamation Plan, as <br /> specified in subsections 6.3.4... as required for the size of type of operation. <br /> Please see attached Reclamation Plan. <br /> 3.1.2 Reclaiming Substituted Land: <br /> No lands will be substituted for lands to be reclaimed. <br /> 3.1.3 Time Limit and Phased Reclamation: <br /> (2) All reclamation shall be carried to completion by the Operator with all reasonable <br /> diligence, and each phase of reclamation shall be completed within five (5) years from <br /> the date the Operator informs the Board of Office that such phase has commenced: <br /> All site reclamation will be completed once the necessary borrow material is removed. The <br /> area will be available for planting as soon as the topsoil is replaced. <br /> 3.1.5 Reclamation Measures—Materials Handling: <br /> (1) Grading shall be carried on so as to create a final topography appropriate to the <br /> final land use selected in the Reclamation Plan: <br /> The goal of grading is to return the site to rangeland suitable for grazing livestock. <br /> (3) All grading shall be done in a manner to control erosion and siltation of the <br /> affected land, to protect areas outside the affected land from slides and other damage. <br /> If not eliminated, all highwalls shall be eliminated: <br /> Final grading will be done on the contour, provided it does not pose a hazard to operators <br /> or equipment. No highwalls shall remain once mining and reclamation are complete. <br /> (6) Any drill or auger holes that are part of the mining operation shall be plugged <br /> with non-combustible material, which shall prevent harmful or polluting drainage. <br /> Adits and shafts should be closed, and where practicable, backfilled and graded in a <br /> manner consistent with the post mining land use: <br /> 38 <br />
