<br /> <br /> <br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br /> <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to <br />approve Bond Release Application No. 3 (SL-3) for the Munger Canyon Mine , Permit No. C- <br />1981-020. SL-3 to release 6.37 acres Phase I liability, 7.76 acres Phase II liability, and 21.97 <br />acres Phase III Liability. This decision constitutes a full release of reclamation liability for the <br />Munger Canyon Mine . Pursuant to Rule 3.03.3(1), the Division is proposing to terminate its <br />jurisdiction over this entire coal mining operation. The underground operation is operated by <br />CAM Mining, LLC under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining R eclamation Act of <br />1979. The bond release application was submitted by CAM Mining, LLC on April 23, 2018. J.E. <br />Stover and Associates submitted a final bond release application on behalf of CAM Mini ng, LLC <br />for the Munger Canyon Mine. The application requested; Phase I, II and III release of 4.5 acres, <br />Phase I and II release of 1.1 acres, and Phase III re lease of 15.5 acres. The affected area is located <br />in Garfield County, approximately 18 miles North of Loma, Colorado. <br /> <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for review at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, and on the <br />Division’s website at <br />http://mining.state.co.us/Reports/MiningData/Pages/ImagedDocumentData.aspx. A user’s guide <br />for our document imaging system is also available in pdf format at the same web address. <br /> <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision. Requests for a hearing must be made in writing within <br />thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice, and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
