Mine areas will not be
dewatered for mining purposes until the slurry wall is approved by the State Engineers
Office (SEO). As a result of the slurry wall leak test water might be discharged offsite per
CDPHE rules. Uncontrolled releases of surface water in disturbed areas will not occur.
Stormwater collected in the active mine area will be managed through the dewatering
system.
(d) Estimate project water requirements including flow rates and annual volumes for the
de velopment, mining and reclamation phases of the project.
Projected Use And Consumption: Mine areas will not be dewatered for mining purposes
until the slurry wall is completed and approved by the SEO and no onsite water will be used
in washing the product as all product will be dry screened. Dust suppression will be supplied
from other sources, so as trucked in water or augmentation water owned by Hunt Water,
LLC.
Mining Production & Operations: Hunt Water, LLC Gravel Mine expects to extract a
maximum of 350,000 tons annually of aggregate material from the site. This material will not
contain groundwater or be washed and excavation will not go below the groundwater depth
of 15 feet(see groundwater data). Once the slurry wall is complete and has been tested
Hunt Water, LLC might mine below the groundwater water table but only if the slurry wall
leak test is approved by the SEO.
(e) Indicate the projected amounts of the water sources to supply project water
requirements
Hunt Water, LLC- Gravel Mine-MLRB 112 Permit Application
Exhibit G-1
