It is important to narrow down the issue(s).
Called the state and found the property was approved for just removing dirt stored there during the Central
city parkway construction. No permit was issued. The state assigned a number only to keep track of them.
This was approved for kinsman trucking in 2009.They went out of business and this rock-x company bought it
and started a full blown rock quarry. He was caught taking moss rock off private property just behind the
quarry in Leavenworth gulch. Gilpin county issued a cease and desist last year to stop it.They have also
undone the EPA's mitigation work. They ran the equipment thru the creek. They took some of granite and put
on pallets. They also knocked down mine building with backhoe in Leavenworth gulch looking for rock. They
put a road out back that leads down to Leavenworth gulch. I also believe they might be on other peoples
property and possible BLM. I have pics if needed.Thanx
Have you contacted the operator or party conducting the operation? If yes, please provide details.
r Yes r No
Details
I stopped the two guys in the equipment that were tearing up a moss rock outcropping from private property.
They said they did not speak english.
If known, please provide the name of the operator or party conducting the operation.
Rock-x
If known, please provide the Permit or NOI Number(ie M1970111 or P1970111).
Must be entered in the following format: M1970111 or P1970111 (No dashes allowed)
M2009044
