Exhibit A: Legal Description <br /> The pit will encompass approximately 9.9 acres on the NW%, SW%, Section 15,Township 11 S, Range <br /> 49 W of the 6tn P.M., Kit Carson County, Colorado. Delineator boundary posts will be set to mark the pit <br /> areas as shown on the map. <br /> Exhibit B: Site Description <br /> Exhibit B shows a regional location map of the area and a notation of where the Jarnagin Pit is located. <br /> a) Vegetation <br /> The site is currently pasture land. In a small area, existing landowner has taken some <br /> material from this site in previous years for his own use. <br /> Soil Information <br /> A Custom Soil Resource Report is attached in Exhibit B as well as a map to point out the <br /> areas of different soils. <br /> b) Permanent man-made structures <br /> There are 4 power polies within 200 feet of the affected area. A letter of agreement has <br /> been signed by KC Electric Association dated March 20, 2018. <br /> c) Water resources <br /> The excavation will not occur within a drainage area. Aside from runoff during rainfall, the <br /> excavation should not encounter any water during mining. Rainfall in the area averages <br /> about 14.9 inches per year. The site will generally not be impacted by water. The water <br /> table is in the area is approximately 140 feet deep. <br />
