This will allow us to store machinery and parts for our longwall system out of the weather, and
provide for better all-season access. The modular building, to be erected at this location, is the former Williams
Fork Warehouse building, which is currently being disassembled for transport to the Twentymile site. Prior to
reconstruction of the Longwall Yard Storage Building at Twentymile, TC will install concrete support caissons
for the 100' x 60' building and a 100' x 20' roof overhang. Design plans call for 6—24" diameter caissons and
13 — 18" diameter caissons, all of which will be approximately 24' long. Since the Longwall Yard Storage
Building will be constructed within the limits of the existing longwall material storage yard, there will be no
new surface disturbance, and drainage from this area will be addressed by the existing drainage and sediment
control systems. Consistent with TC's standard operating practices, no potentially hazardous materials will be
stored in this outside storage area.
This submittal includes a revision application form, revised PAP text (TOC pg. xii, pgs. 2.05-18.1 and 19, and
Exhibit 49M slip-sheet) addressing the location, configuration, operation, maintenance, and reclamation of the
proposed Longwall Yard Storage Building, a revised Map 24 showing the building location, and a bond
estimate. We would like to proceed with this project as soon as possible, in order to take advantage of the
summer construction season. We, therefore, appreciate your consideration, cooperation, and assistance in
facilitating timely review and approval of this revision application. After you have opportunity to review the
accompanying information, please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss submittal materials or
related matters.
Best regards,
Twentymil a LC
Jerry M.
