BIack Canyon), Permit No. M-1977-210; Corrective Action Response <br />to the March 21, 2018 Inspection Report. <br />Dear Mr. Cazier: <br />Transit Mix Concrete Co., on behalf of Continental Materials Corporation, is responding to the <br />corrective actions listed in your March 21, 2018 Inspection Report. F rcv,, e <br />p-ctograpr c evidence of r6movirg the kr--r gLftcr to ar�y backfill pia-ement, foIIowed by photograrF� �f <br />acv e\ --g f nal grades, and seed log=fC On c#fgrt or if appropriate, a schedule for later it <br />20 IS by the corrective action dlee dot. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION DUE DATE: <br />(The Division, at the request of TMCC, extended the corrective action date to the 20`h of <br />August.) <br />Proposed Corrective Action Response: <br />The corrective actions specified by the DRMS included removal of the exposed pond liner. As <br />noted in previous correspondence to the DRMS, that task has been completed. <br />The corrective actions for the Water Supply Pond also included stabilization of the Pond's <br />interior slopes. The corrective actions will begin around mid-September. Figure 1 depicts the <br />treatment areas in the pond. <br />• The first task will be to rough up the colored soil area on the north side of the pond. <br />Since this will be a hand labor task, they may not be able to reach all the area due to <br />excessive, slippery slopes. <br />• Step two will be to grade.'push the small berm of material over the colored soil area. <br />• Step three will be to rough up other areas of the interior pond slope which are hard or <br />compacted. <br />• The fourth step will be to broadcast the following seed mix on to the interior slopes. <br />
