Cosel <br />204 Nyac Avenue <br />Pelham, NY 10803 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br /> Permit Renewal Application No. 7 (RN-7) <br /> Foidel Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1982-056) <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal <br />application for coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Twentymile <br />Coal, LLC on October 27, 2017 for the Foidel Creek Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) <br />of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we <br />are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of the public notice by the Division in the Steamboat Pilot. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 23 miles Southwest of Steamboat Springs, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />In portions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4N, R86W; Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W; Sections 23, 24, 25, <br />26, 27, 34, 35 and 36 in T5N, R87W; and all of T5N, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, <br />and 36. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and at the Routt County Clerk and Recorder, 136 6th Street, Steamboat Springs, CO <br />80477.
