i
i
i
Inspection Report Response 1
July 30,2018 i
Paged
quarry by the barrier of SH 93,its associated buffer, and the large distance from the quarry to the
nearest processing plant structure (appox. 850 ft.). Mining activities that occur to the west of
SH93 do not have the potential to slide or damage the processing plant and associated structures.
The Realite Plus (Product) Storage area does not include activities that would slide or damage the
processing plant. As described above, this storage area consists of material and coal storage with
wind, sediment control, and run-off control berm buffers in place. Therefore, the processing plant
and associated structures are protected from slides or damages occurring during the mining
operation and do not need to be included within the permit boundary to stay in compliance with
C.R.S. 34-32.5-116(4)(i).
There are state-listed noxious weeds present on site. This is a problem for failure to employ
weed control methods for state listed noxious weed species within the permitted area, and to
reduce the spread of weeds to nearby areas as required by Section 3.1.10(6)of the rule.
Please see the Weed Management Plan presented as Appendix D.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 817-635-8556.
Sincerely,
TRNLWB,LLC
Michael Ragsdale
Environmental Manager
cc: Matthew Hallmark—TRNLWB,LLC
i
I
