Attached map shows proposed
areas that will be field fitted to surface area. This process will drill blast trenches on a 6' x8' pattern 8' deep
to create approximately 1316 sy of fractured surface area. These fractured areas will create areas to
collect water for plantings and break up the flow of water off-site.
After Blasting areas, we would gather loose material on-site to add to berms. At this time, we
also will add a drainage swale to direct water from the area above the road to the natural drainage to the
South. The lower fill area will get a berm added to breakup runoff on this slope At the bottom of the fat, a
small detention area whi be created. Fines from the detention area will be added with the addition of 450
tons of imported fines to the berms to help create planting areas.
Seeding, we propose to use a hydra slurry rnix that will contain a peat mix with organic fertilizer
with the seed. This will help create a substituted topsoil to help get the seed growing. After seeding we will
mulch with a wood mulch that has a higher tackifier mixed Into the product which will last throughout the
growing season. In addition to seed'ng will install 250 606 Ponderosa Pine seedlings in the berms.
If you have any questions, please let me know and we can d scuss the sites and approach.
Thank you,
:"4" /'j
Colby Reid
Western States Reclarnation Inc
303-908-3525
ire dwsreclamation cam
