No operator was present during the inspection. The
weather was sunny and ground conditions were muddy and saturated. Temperatures during the inspection were
around seventy five degrees fahrenheit.

On July 23, 2018, a large precipitation event occurred at the mine. For the day, a total of 1.68 inches of
percipitation was measured at Florence, CO (located approximately 8 miles northwest of the mine) with 1.43
inches of precipitation measure over an hour.

HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
The Magpie Diversion was inspected. Sediment deposition was observed along the base of the channel from the
contributing drainages. No cutting or erosion was observed and the ditch remains armored with rip rap. The area
noted in previous inspection reports as “devoid” with rip rap had no issues associated with it. The channel remains
stable and functional with the culvert inlet clear. No issues were observed.

RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
The two track road as well as the NW-MW pad and road spur were inspected. No erosion from the area was
observed. Vegetation continues to establish itself along the two track. The road spur is already well established
with vegetation and no issues were observed.
