TOTAL ACREAGE: 13,469.940 <br />The application for the proposed LMU modification is available for public review at the Bureau <br />of Land Management, Colorado State Office, 2850 Youngfield Street, Lakewood, Colorado, <br />80215. Any comments concerning the approval of the LMU modification should be sent to the <br />Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office, Attn: Chief, Branch of Solid Minerals, at <br />the above address, no later than close of business August 24, 2018. <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado State Office of the BLM proposes to approve Mountain Coal Company's LMU <br />modification application. Under 43 CFR 3487.1(a), the proposed effective date of the LMU <br />modification would be March 12, 2018, the date the BLM received Mountain Coal Company's <br />application. <br />The BLM will conduct a public hearing on this proposed action if it receives a written request for <br />a hearing from any person having a direct interest in, or who is or may be adversely affected by, <br />the proposed LMU modification. The BLM must receive such a request by the close of business <br />on August 24, 2018.
