The proposed modification to <br />the LMU will: (1) add 800 acres in Federal Coal Lease COC 1362, (2) add all lands in Federal <br />Coal Lease COC67232, and (3) remove and relinquish all lands in Federal Coal Lease <br />C0054558. The modified LMU will consist of five federal coal leases located in Gunnison <br />County, Colorado. <br />Under 43 CFR 3481.2(b), a Notice of Availability for any proposed modification to an LMU <br />must be sent to appropriate federal and state agencies for review and comment. If you have any <br />questions regarding this proposed modification to the LMU, please contact Doug Siple, Mining <br />Engineer, at (303) 239-3774.
