Appendix D.3: 80 mil LLDPE DSMS Geomembrane Roll QC Certifications <br /> i. The letter from TRI dated 112912014—final report of lab testing is for one Agru 80 <br /> mil Microspike LLDPE with Resin Lot# CDG810350. This Resin Lot# differs from <br /> that given in Appendix D.1 — 80 mil LLDPE DSMS Inventory Control, which is" <br /> CJ8810260 for all rolls. Please reconcile the lot numbers to be consistent between <br /> inventory control and what was tested in the laboratory. <br /> The 2% Secant, and Multi-Axial Tensile test results were placed in Appendix D.3 — 80mil LLDPE <br /> DSMS Geomembrane Roll Certificates by mistake and shall be moved to Appendix D.4 80mil <br /> LLDPE DSMS Geomembrane Resin QC Certificates. The 2%Secant and Multi-Axial Tensile results <br /> are presented in the letter from Mansukh Patel dated January 29, 2014. The resin QC certificate <br /> presented in Appendix D.4 is intended to demonstrate that the resin, or raw material, used to <br /> manufacture the geomembrane rolls meets the current industry standard. The resin QC <br /> Certificate, 2% Secant, and Multi-Axial test results are only intended to verify that the resin is <br /> acceptable for Agru to use when manufacturing the geomembrane. The 2% Secant and Multi- <br /> Axial Tensile testing is considered formulation testing, and is only completed when a resin <br /> formula has changed to ensure that the resin/additive formula is adequate. The resin lot tested, <br /> Chevron 7104 LLDPE Resin Lot CDG810350, contains the same formula as the resin used to <br /> manufacture the VLF 2 Recertification Project geomembrane.The resin QC certificate, 2%Secant, <br /> and Multi-Axial Tensile test results are not meant to certify the actual rolls. The individual roll <br /> certificates provide QC test results for each individual roll and are presented in Appendix D.3 - <br /> 80mil LLDPE DSMS Geomembrane Roll QA Certificates. <br /> ii. The Letter from Chevron Phillips dated 101311217 gives exposure and aging results <br /> for: <br /> Roll#G17D000534,for Smooth, 40 mil <br /> Rol#G158434055,for Smooth, 40 mil <br /> This information differs from what is given in Appendix D.1 —80 mil LLDPE DSMS <br /> Inventory Control: Roll #s: FND0010080002 thru 0008 and FND0010080012 thru <br /> 0028, all for Textured, 80 mil. Please explain why laboratory results for a different <br /> material was provided or provide appropriate laboratory data. <br /> The Oven-Aging and UV-Aging test results were placed in Appendix D.3 — 80mil LLDPE DSMS <br /> Geomembrane Roll Certificates by mistake and shall be moved to Appendix D.4 80mil LLDPE <br /> DSMS Geomembrane Resin QC Certificates. The Oven-Aging and UV-Aging test results are <br /> presented in the letter from Lili, Cui, Ph.D. or Yingying Lu, Ph.D. of Chevron Phillips dated October <br /> 31, 2017. The resin QC certificate presented in Appendix D.4 is intended to demonstrate that the <br /> resin, or raw material, used to manufacture the geomembrane rolls meets the current industry <br /> standard.
