Everist, Inc. respectfully requests a Technical Revision for minor changes to the Reclamation Plan of
Carbon Valley Resource, DRMS Permit# M-2001-017. We have included the DRMS's form, Request for
Technical Revision (TR) Cover Sheet and check#1893 for$216.00 to cover the Technical Revision fee.
For this Technical Revision, we are slightly revising the Reclamation Plan in Area B of the Carbon Valley
Resource. We noted in our 2016 amendment(AM-01 approval 10/21/16), that there could be future
changes to the reclamation plan due to changes with oil and gas facilities. Possible changes were shown
on the Reclamation Plan Map as an "Alternate Reclamation Plan".
Changes to Reclamation Plan of Area B (east side of site) - L.G. Everist worked together with PDC
Energy, Inc. in order to abandon and remove PDC Energy Inc. Coors Fee 2-6 oil well, which was located
along the west side of Area B. PDC capped and removed the oil well and the associated gathering lines.
After PDC's removal process was complete, L.G. Everist was able to mine through the peninsula for
additional sand and gravel reserves. The resulting western perimeter of Area B will follow a north-south
line, as shown on the attached map. Please see the Reclamation Plan Map (revised Jul-2018) for the
updated reclamation and configuration of the water storage reservoir in Area B.
NOTE: Upcoming Acreage Reduction Request- L.G. Everist is currently finishing up the final
reclamation work of Areas A and B, and we plan to submit an Acreage Reduction Request to the DRMS
in early fall-2018 to release these areas from the Carbon Valley DRMS permit. The Town of Firestone
has an agreement with L.G. Everist to purchase Areas A and B for the beneficial end use of municipal
water storage. Firestone would like to get started on the additional pumping infrastructure needed for
water storage as soon as possible, without having a DRMS permit over the property.
If you have any questions or need anything else to process this Technical Revision, please contact me at
303-286-2247 or Imshults@lgeverist.com.
SincerelAy,
I G //f//J'
Lynn Mayer S ults
Regulatory Manager
cc: files- L.G.
