Box 1488 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />July 9, 2018 <br />Re: First Quarter 2018 Sediment Pond Inspection Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />The Division received the first quarter 2018 quarterly sediment pond inspection reports for the <br />Bowie No. 1 Mine (C1981-038) on April 11, 2018. <br />All four of the ponds were dry at the time of the inspection, and no maintenance concerns were <br />noted. <br />Bowie Resources also provided the 2018 Impoundment Yearly Inspection in accordance with <br />Rule 4.05.9(14). <br />Thank you for your timely submittal of the reports. <br />Sincerely, <br />Janet H.
